Forming Metal Clay with Flowers & Leaves - Live Online Class

This session is dedicated to developing hand-forming skills to create floral elements. With this 1 hour class, you will learn and apply forming skills to create various flowers and develop the skills to make perfect leaves. 

• 1 hour of live interactive video conferencing including guided step-by-step instructions - (internet connected device with web-cam required).
• Document (.pdf) containing the major steps and considerations.

This class will provide you with the technical skills to enhance your creativity with the addition of floral elements.

Learn best practices to minimize wasting metal clay and speeding up the creation of future projects.  

This class accommodates all skill levels and is step 3 of a series of 5 classes that cover every step of completing a hand-formed metal clay creation including post fired gemstone setting.  

Materials required:

• 3-4 grams metal clay of choice, slip (paste), needle tool & extra-fine paintbrush.
  
• Work-surface, roller, spacers (2 - 6 cards), Teflon card or plastic document protector, acrylic disk or plate.
• Cup warmer or hot plate.
• Craft knife blade.

Required connectivity: 

• Internet connected device - Desk top / laptop / tablet or smartphone with web cam and microphone.
• Optional headphones with microphone (recommended for desktop).
